A high school education is more important now than ever before. In the current economy, career opportunities, job security, and salary expectations can be increased greatly if you have an adult high school diploma. Additionally, the competition for the few jobs that are available is high. Finally, you will also experience a personal sense of accomplishment and serve as a positive role model for your family and friends when you receive an adult high school diploma or equivalent (GED®).
As part of the Washoe County School District, the Adult Education program is designed to serve adults and out-of-school youth 18 years and older who desire to earn a Nevada high school diploma, or Certificate of High School Equivalency (GED).
